St. Francis Guild

Mothers Prayer Group

The 'Mothers Prayers' meet as a group on the last Tuesday of every month in Kineton Cottage. They pray for children, grandchildren, and families in the parish/area, as well as about issues reported through the media.  A booklet is followed, giving those the ability to pray silently if so desired, or express their prayers aloud. The names of those prayed about are written on a white disc and placed in a basket. The basket is included in the offertory procession at Mass the following Sunday.  The prayer group was started in Kent in 1995, and now exists in many countries throughout the world.

All are welcome at this prayer group - Mothers, fathers, grandparents, and any people without children. All that is needed is a desire to pray for our Youth - our Future.

"Please turn to Jesus in prayer
 He loves you
 He loves all of us
 He loves your children
When will you believe just how much he loves?"

Contact Trisha Parish via the parish priest for more information.
